An acclaimed neurologist, Dr. Habib Khan has a knack for art and literature. He has penned his experiences at Dow Medical College in his first poetic work, Dow Nama. Dr. Khan graduated from DOW in the class of ’88. He moved to The United States for his post-graduate training in the field of Neurology. Currently a resident of Arizona, he has practiced Neurology for 19 years now in a small town called Casa Grande, famous for its John Wayne ranches.
Dr. Khan has marvelously expressed his experiences at Dow Medical College in the form of Urdu Poetry, encompassing ever-lasting friendship, love, dedication, respect and enduring memories, some bringing laughter and others tears. He has revived and built connections amongst past, present and future students of Dow Medical College or any other educational institution sharing the similar culture and values.
Dr.Khan established DIL Foundation, his non-profit organization, in 2012. The Foundation is dedicated to work together With individuals and organizations in communities, helping individuals to have a better quality of life. He will be Contributing all profits from book sales into his non-profit organization.
